In lessons the teachers speak very clearly so I hadn’t any problems understanding. Lake School is great, I’ve met many friendly people from all over the world and teachers are amazing.

Accreditation

The Lake School is accredited by the British Council

British CouncilTo ensure that we are providing our students with the highest quality service, the British Council inspects our school regularly.

The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected, (see www.britishcouncil.org/accreditation-students.htm for details.)

In April 2009, the British Council inspected and re-accredited the Lake School of English Oxford, which offers courses in general and professional English for adults.

The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the Scheme:

Points of excellence were noted in aspects of general management, premises, academic resources, academic management, teachers' qualifications and welfare.

We are proud that the British Council recognises our strengths.

The Lake School of English Oxford is being featured in the EL Gazette April 2010 issue as a centre of excellence based on their British Council accreditation result; the Lake School scored a total of six points of excellence, one of only eight British Council accredited centres in the UK to do so.

The Lake School is a member of English UK
