Accreditation
The Lake School is accredited by the British Council
To ensure that we are providing our students with the highest quality service, the British Council inspects our school regularly.
The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching and welfare and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected, (see www.britishcouncil.org/english/courses for details.) By being a British Council accredited school, The Lake School of English Oxford is a registered provider of tuition in English as a foreign language and can be found on the British government Department for Skills and Education list of registered providers at www.dfes.gov.uk/providersregister. The British Council inspected and accredited the Lake School, Oxford in November 2005. The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the Scheme:

The Lake School is a member of English UK
English UK is the association for accredited English language providers. As members of this association, we follow a code of conduct and regulations which are designed to ensure excellent standards of teaching and welfare for foreign learners of English in the UK.
