Special Group Programmes
Whoever you are, we'll create the perfect language learning experience!
If you would like to bring a group to the Lake School, either to join a General English course, or to be taught in a closed group, we can help you to design the perfect language learning experience.
We will provide you with a course outline, details of accommodation, airport transfers and a social activity programme based on the needs of your group.

Tell us as much information as you can about your group, for example:
- the number of people in the group
- their level of English
- the dates they would like to come
- the number of hours they would like to study
- the type of accommodation they would lik
- their preferences for social activities and excursions
- whether they would like to be taught together in a closed group or integrated into a scheduled course
We cost your group programme at a special discount, and give you different options to present to your group. We provide accommodation and free tuition for you as group leader, (depending on the size of your group.) Before and during your stay we give you support and advice about being a group leader, to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
Here are some of the options you can consider when planning your group:
Tuition options
- Semi-Intensive from 9.15 to 13.00 every day (15 hours per week)
- Semi-Intensive with afternoon activities (you specify the number of afternoons and the type of activities. Cultural, sporting, social or a mix)
- Intensive from 9.15 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday, 9.15 to 13.00 on Friday (21 hours per week)
- You specify the number of hours
Accommodation options
- Homestay £120 per week single room
- Homestay £110 per week shared room
- Hotel from £350 per week bed and breakfast
- Oxford university college from £450 per week bed and breakfast (early booking required)
Cultural, sporting and social activities
- We include 2 activities per week in your programme, one on Tuesday afternoon and one on Wednesday / Thursday evening.
We also offer a wide range of extra activities for your clients to choose from:
- Day excursions (all accompanied by an experienced guide)
- London, Bath, Stonehenge and Salisbury, Cambridge, Warwick, Stratford upon Avon .. and many more
- Sporting activities
- Ice-skating, swimming, horse-riding, volleyball, aerobics, football .. and many more
- Social activities
- Karaoke evenings, pub evenings, theatre trips, disco parties .. and many more
