Guided tour of Oxford
Cultural, social and sporting activities included in your Lake School programme
On Tuesday afternoons, you can join a cultural talk, visit or an activity. Guest speakers give talks on a variety of topics. Visits include guided tours of Oxford, museums and local places of interest. Activities include punting, ice skating and cinema visits. We also organise weekly football games after school.
On Thursday evenings you can meet your friends and teachers in a pub for a drink and a chat. We also have regular parties and quiz evenings in school.
These activities are included in your course fees. (When the social activity is not held at the Lake School, you will have to pay for your drinks.) Everyone is invited to join in and take part!
Optional activities GO OXFORD
Besides the school activities, GO OXFORD, a brand new organization provides a weekly programme for all international students from language schools in and around Oxford. With GO OXFORD you will meet new people from different countries and learn more about Oxford by taking part in all kinds of fun activities, such as: salsa dancing, bowling and skating. The contribution for attending an activity is between 2GBP and 7GBP.
