How many different nationalities are studying at the Lake School in January 2012?
We hare some lovely students at the moment; they come from Italy-France-Sudan-Turkey-Russia-Algeria-Spain-Nicaragua-Japan-Lithuania-Thailand-Saudi Arabia-Switzerland-China-Finland-Israel-Poland, UAE and Argentina. Perhaps you'd like to take a course and join them!

Welcome to our new staff member!
In September 2011 a new staff member joined our team. Tina is 4th year International Business and Languages student from the Hanze University in Groningen, The Netherlands. She will work here untill the 10th of February as a Marketing Assistant. If you have any questions or if you need anything, Tina would love to help you! She speaks Dutch, English and some German and Spanish.

Janet is a teacher trainer who is passionate about web 2.0 tools.
She regularly runs courses for teachers of English at the Lake School and presents at conferences. She's just started online tutoring for The Consultants-E. How exciting!

Lake School Fun Run Winners!
Congratulations to the fastest Lake School team ever, who won the Quality English trophy during the Oxford Fun Run last month!
The whole school celebrated Hesham, Sharhdad and Yusuf with champagne and chocolate, and they were presented with medals by Carolyn Blackmore, CE of Quality English.
Lake School is announced Centre of Excellence!
Based on their British Council accreditation result; the Lake School of English is featured in the EL Gazette April 2011 issue as a centre of excellence; the Lake School scored a total of six points of excellence, one of only a few British Council accredited centres in the UK to do so!
