A time of year and a price to suit you
The Lake School offers summer courses with fixed start dates in July and August. If you would like to start on other dates, please contact the school, as this may be possible.
You can choose how many weeks you study for. Summer courses can be combined with other courses during the academic year.
Summer courses are very popular, so we advise early registration. Please note that there are no exam preparation classes in July or August and beginner level students must start on July 5th, 2010.

Payment - Important Information
If you need a UK visa
you must pay your full fees when you make your registration. When we receive your registration form, we will send you an invoice showing your fees. You must pay by bank transfer and send a copy of the bank transfer document by email or fax before visa documention is issued.
In addition to your tuition fees, you must pay:
- a registration fee of £75
- a visa documentation fee of £25
- and bank charges of £25
An express mail fee of £90 will be charged if you need your visa documentation by post.
If your visa is refused, these administration fees are non-refundable. Your tuition fees will be refunded in full subject to the following conditions:
- as soon as you receive your visa, you must tell the Lake School. If you do not arrive at the Lake School on your agreed course start date, the school must report you to the UK Border Agency and you will lose the course feesfor any weeks that you do not attend.
- if your visa is refused or delayed, you must tell the Lake School at least two weeks before the start of your course and send a copy of the original letter of refusal given to you by the Entry Clearance Officer. In this case, we will refund your full course fees less any administration fees.
- if your visa is refused or delayed and you tell the Lake School less than two weeks before the start of your course, we will refund your fees less any administration fees and less a cancellation fee of 350 GBP. If your visa is refused or delayed and you tell the Lake School after the start date of your course, you will lose the course fees for any weeks that you do not attend, in addition to the cancellation fee.
- in any case, you must apply for a refund of course fees within four weeks of your visa refusal date.
If you do not need a UK visa
you must pay a deposit of £200 and a registration fee of £75, when you make your registration. You can pay by credit card or bank transfer. If you pay by bank transfer, you must add £25 to cover bank charges.
The deposit is part of your total course fees. You must pay the balance of fees before you start the course.
The registration fee is non-refundable. The deposit is only refunded in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of the directors of the school.
If you have paid the registration fee and deposit and cancel your course less than two weeks before the course start date, the school will not refund these.

School Holidays 2010
The Lake School is closed on the following dates in 2010: January 1 - 3, April 2*, April 5*, May 3*, May 31*, August 30*, December 13 - January 2, 2011. *Public holiday.
There are no refunds for classes which would have taken place on public holidays.

- Choose your course and check the dates and fees.
- Complete the registration form.
- Send the online registration form, or send the form by email, fax or post.
We will send you confirmation that we have received your registration form and an invoice showing you how much you have to pay. When we have received your payment, we will send confirmation of your enrolment.
