Insurance
We arrange full health and personal belongings insurance for our students with a specialist student travel insurance company.
This 5 star super cover insurance provides protection for language travel students and gives them and their family peace of mind.
- For students over 18, the cost is £30 for the first two weeks and £5 for each extra week.
- For students under 18 the cost is £25 for the first two weeks and and £5 for each extra week.
If you do not want us to provide insurance for you, you must arrange your own insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there a maximum age limit?
A: Yes - Up to age 60. Cover after this age can be given in certain circumstances, but please contact us first.
Q: What are the main exclusions under the medical section?
A: The main ones are
- Cover for treatment which is known to be required at the time of Departure.
- Dental treatment unless necessary as a result of accidental bodily injury.
- The insured person must not be travelling against medical advice or for the purposes of obtaining medical treatment.
Q: Does the ACE Rescue section cover the cost of repatriation?
A: Yes - it does
Q: Does cover under the Cancellation and Curtailment Sections include Tuition and Accommodation fees as well as Travel Costs?
A: Yes
Q: Do these sections cover me if I have to cancel or curtail my course as a result of death of illness of one of my family?
A: Yes. Cover extends to include close relatives (parents, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters and fiance). It also extends to a Close Business Colleague. No cover is provided in respect of Grandparents.
Q: What does the Delay, Abandonment and Missed Departure cover?
A: It covers these inconveniences as a direct result of a strike, industrial action, adverse weather conditions, traffic flow, congestion or mechanical breakdown.
Q: What are the main exclusions to the policy?
A: The following are excluded from the policy
- Winter sports, motor racing, mountaineering and similar hazardous activities.
- War and similar risks.
- Suicide.
- Engaging in a criminal or illegal act.
- Any loss attributable to HIV or related illnesses.
- Pre-existing Medical Conditions.
Q: Is there a 24 hour Emergency Medical Service?
A: Yes - in the event of an emergency a 24 hour service is available. You will receive the telephone number to contact with your policy.
Q: What happens if I enrol on a course for a longer period and return home for a holiday?
A: The policy provides cover from when you leave your home to when you return, so if you leave the UK and return home cover will cease. You should insure each trip to the UK separately.
Q: Does the insurance cover me if during my stay in the UK I take a trip to another country?
A: Yes - As long as you do not return to your home country.
