Family Programme
An opportunity to travel and study with your family
This programme is for parent/s and child/ren between 12 and 15. Parents take an Intensive English course for over 25s (or a Professional Development Course) at the Lake School, between 9.15am and 4pm.
Children study on a separate junior course, between 9am and 5.30pm (students may return for the evening social activities). This course is at St Hugh's College and provided by MM Oxford. Older children, aged 16 and over, can study at Lake School on an Intensive English course.
Our partner, at St Hugh's College (MM Oxford), is a well-established language course provider for juniors: teachers are experienced and qualified at teaching English as a foreign language.
We can help you to arrange self-catering accommodation for your family in Oxford. Homestay may also be possible.

A high standard of care and supervision
Parents can relax and enjoy their course at the Lake School, while their children are learning, being well-looked after and having fun. The staff at St Hugh's College take very good care of the students and the junior activities are well-organised. Social activity organizers accompany students on all activities and excursions. There is a good ratio of staff to students. The course provider (MM Oxford) is accredited by the British Council and a member of English UK.
An exciting programme of activities and excursions
A full social activity programme is included in the junior course: there are social/sporting/cultural activities every day after lessons finish, and some evening activities too. On Saturdays and Sundays there are full day excursions to places of interest, such as London, Bath, Stratford upon Avon and Warwick Castle, Windsor, Salisbury and Brighton.
St Hugh's College sporting facilities are also available for students to use in their free time.
There are also also weekly cultural and social activities included in the adult course at the Lake School: Intensive English for over 25s and Professional Development Courses.
