Professional Development Courses

Practical, creative ideas and a dynamic approach from experienced professionals

These successful and popular courses are for people using English in their work and teachers of English at Primary, Secondary or Adult level, who want to learn about best practice and innovation in English language teaching or Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL). 

These 1-week and 2-week courses take place throughout the year. All courses include cultural and social activities.They are eligible for EU funding with Erasmus+ grants. Contact us for help and support with your funding application.

Courses between July 1 and August 9, 2019 will be held in the beautiful, modern premises of Oxford University Business School, which is 2 minutes' walk from the Lake School building in Park End Street. Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport opportunities across Europe. 

Lake School Professional Development Courses continue to be eligible for EU funding with Erasmus+ grants.

Under the Erasmus+ programme, grants are provided to people who work in education in EU countries, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey and FYR Macedonia. 

You have to apply for an Erasmus+ grant through your school, organisation, training institute or university. You can't apply individually.
