Special Group Programmes

Let us create the perfect language learning experience!

If you would like to bring a group to the Lake School, either to join a General English course, or to be taught in a closed group, we can help you to design the perfect language learning experience.

We will provide you with a course outline, details of accommodation, airport transfers and a social activity programme and excursions based on the needs of your group.

Tell us as much information as you can about your group, for example:

  • the number of people in the group
  • their level of English
  • their English language learning aims and their requirements for course content
  • the dates they would like to come
  • the number of hours they would like to study
  • the type of accommodation they would like
  • their preferences for social activities and excursions
  • whether they would like to be taught together in a closed group or integrated into a scheduled course

We cost your group programme at a special discount, and give you different options to present to your group. We provide accommodation and free tuition for you as group leader, (depending on the size of your group.) Before and during your stay we give you support and advice about being a group leader, to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

Here are some of the options you can consider when planning your group:

Tuition options
  • Semi-Intensive from 9.15 to 13.00 every day (15 hours per week)
  • Semi-Intensive with afternoon activities (you specify the number of afternoons and the type of activities; cultural, sporting, social activities or a mix of these)
  • Intensive from 9.15 to 16.00 Monday to Thursday, 9.15 to 13.00 on Friday (21 hours per week)
  • You specify the number of hours
Accommodation options
  • Homestay £180 per week single room
  • Homestay £170 per week twin room
  • Hotel from £420 per week bed and breakfast
Cultural, sporting and social activities
  • We include 2 or 3 activities per week in your programme, one on Tuesday afternoon and one on Wednesday and/or Thursday evening.
We also offer a wide range of extra activities for your clients to choose from:
Day excursions 
London, Bath, Blenheim Palace, Stonehenge and Salisbury, Warwick Castle, Stratford upon Avon, the Isle of Wight.. and more!
Sporting activities
Ice-skating, punting, football, basketball, Zumba! ... and more!
Social activities
Quiz and karaoke evening, traditional pub evening, evensong at a university college, riverside walk and picnic, theatre trip, club night, ghost tour .. and more!
